I use a steam station at home, too, from Philips .. And I bought this iron for my mom. She also wanted a steamer, but not such a massive and expensive device. I tried this iron and it was great for our needs. I mostly iron cotton. I don't notice any wet spots or wrinkles after ironing. Mom has been using for over 6 months now, I haven't noticed any marks on the soleplate. Yesterday I also opened the limescale container, then everything is clean. I definitely recommend to buy. For such money it is simply impossible to find something better, except for a steam station, but this technique is a completely different category.
